The form of this chair refers to the design icon of the World MR20 - chairs designed in the 1920s by the master of international style, of the Bauhaus School - Ludwig Mies Van der Rohe. This model is one of the first designed by him. The structure of the chairs is based on chrome-plated bent pipe frames. The seat and backrest are in natural, very thick leather. Chairs of such construction are known as cantilever chairs. Model MR20 has become one of the most enduring designs of the 20th Century and remains as a symbol of revolutionary concepts in industrial design. This model was originally manufactured by Gebruder Thonet in Europe, and then the license for the production was obtained by Knoll International in the late 50's. A characteristic feature of this model is the movable, thin beam under the seat. The principle of construction in MR series is high seating comfort. Thanks to its lightness and minimalism, altogether with high level of practicality, this model improved space of buildings designed in the era and permanently secured its place in the history of of the art of furniture design. The chairs were part of world class exhibitions inc. Museum of Modern Art (MOMA) or The Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) in New York. This set combines the spirit of the times with a sense of tradition and will work in many arrangements.

Sustainability
Antique and vintage goods are both stylish and sustainable.

They have a low carbon footprint thanks to their existing lifespan and they help reduce deforestation because no trees are being cut to produce them.

They help reduce landfill because, unlike mass-produced non-recyclables, they are high quality in material and craft, and are destined to outlive most other possessions.

Everything we buy interacts with the environment. Second hand furniture and accessories are not only unique, characterful and nostalgic, but also contribute to a sustainable home.
