Sustainability
Antique and vintage goods are both stylish and sustainable.

They have a low carbon footprint thanks to their existing lifespan and they help reduce deforestation because no trees are being cut to produce them.

They help reduce landfill because, unlike mass-produced non-recyclables, they are high quality in material and craft, and are destined to outlive most other possessions.

Everything we buy interacts with the environment. Second hand furniture and accessories are not only unique, characterful and nostalgic, but also contribute to a sustainable home.

Designer Spotlight | Jacques Adnet

Master of art deco, luxurious modernism and the avant garde, Jacques Adnet was a French designer born 1900. Adnet studied at the Municipal School of Design and later Ecole des Arts Decoratifs. His work, though modern, retained classical influences with use of baroque motifs and decorative elements. He commonly designed furniture with clean and simple forms made in combinations of wood, leather, metal and glass, that would be practical for use in everyday life. He also designed beautifully sleek chrome barware that was very much at home in grand hotel bars in the 1930s
