Gerald Mathias has specialised in 19th century wooden and leather clad boxes for more than 30 years, particularly post letters boxes, dispatch despatch boxes, ballot boxes, stationary cabinets and other desktop items. He spent 25 years trading at Chelsea’s well-known Antiquarius on Kings Road, London, where he gained a loyal band of discerning customers. More recently, 10 years ago, he relocated to The Old Cinema, where his bona fide commodoties have been cherished ever since. |
