19th Century French Curved Sofa in Ivory Soft Velvet

A French antique curved sofa completely stripped down and re-upholstered in very soft top quality light neutral colour velvet. The sofa features a sprung seat and backrest on top of which comes foam. All this makes it very comfortable and will last this way for many years. Solid wooden structure makes it a sturdy piece of furniture. Velvet is of top quality, it has been treated with easy to wash process and thanks to its thickness it is strong and soft in touch. Wooden legs show a beautiful patina, we had them treated and secured with special wood oils to keep them fresh for a long time and to expose the beautiful wood grains. The back of this slightly curved sofa has also been covered in the same velvet, which makes the sofa perfect furniture to be placed centrally in a room with an exposed back. The fabrics used are of the highest quality. The shape has been kept in every detail as the original.
