Short Films Night
Ninety guests of THE OLD CINEMA enjoyed a selection of new short films by up and coming artists last November. It was the first time since 1934 that any movie had been screened inside the building, formerly known as Cinema Royale.
We would like to thank Sir Peter Blake for introducing the films, and all of you who came to celebrate this special occasion with us.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of the New Shorts event, we will be holding it again the same time next year.
The new shorts were:
Pushkin by Trevor Hardy (www.foolhardyfilms.com)
Indians by Richard Penn
Fish Eye by Margot Buff
Stand Up for Charlie Barr by Rob Wyn
The Magician by Vera Juliusdottir
Gran by Trevor Hardy
Kallah (Bride) by Miri Shapiro
Procrastination by Johnny Kelly (www.mickeyandjohnny.com)
Stiff by Kip Hall
